Girl’s Cumann na mBunscol Final

Well done to the Lismullen U11 girls team who competed in the final of the Cumann na mBunscol today against Kilcloon. They were up against a very strong Kilcloon team who scored 2-03 in the first half and kept Lismullen scoreless. However the Lismullen girls came out in the second half to give an amazing effort and score 2 goals and 1 point and only let in 2 points for Kilcloon.  They fought hard and never gave up; well done to all. Final score: Kilcloon 2-05; Lismullen 2-01.

Social Media and our Children Night

The Parents Association will hold an information night with Mr O Donoghoe and An Garda Siochana on next Monday night the 25th November at 8pm in the school. In light of recent criminal trials and media coverage highlighting the serious issues relating to social media, access to pornography, cyber bullying and social exclusion, we will give presentations on these issues facing our children.

Everyone is welcome.

Next time you’re on the school grounds please feel free to take a walk among our beautiful garden and see all the care and hard work that has been put in throughout the year. Big thanks to Ms Galligan and Niamh Murtagh for making  it happen.

Bag 2 School Collection

We are holding our Bag2School Collection on Friday November 16th at 9:30am.

We will collect any bags you may have at the school on Friday morning until 10am. We hope to take your unwanted clothing and turn it into funds for the children. Not only do we get the cash benefit of our collection but Bag2School will donate an additional 10% to a very special charity, LauraLynn House.

Thank you for your support.
