Santa, Santa here you go,
Over the trees and faraway,
We will wait on Christmas Eve,
Santa, Santa hurry up!
I just can’t wait for all the stuff!
Oops I heard a little sound,
Maybe I’ll just have a look around,
And see if he has left a present on the ground.
I just hope he did but when I got downstairs
I got a very big shock, ‘Oh no, it’s Santa’, I said.
I ran away up to my room but tripped over my Mammy’s broom.
Santa ran over to me and gave me quite a shock,
And then he smelt my smelly sock.
Santa ran with all his might after such an awful fright.
♥ Well done to Lucy who wrote this wonderful poem :0)
