Sixth Class enjoyed Science Week by making parachutes, balloon powered cars and building various structures. We discovered which type of material was better when making a parachute, how to design a fast car using a balloon for power and built structures using cards, lollipop sticks, matches, lego, meccano, bricks and a host of other materials. We also had a visit from a past pupil who is now working as a scientist. She conducted several experiments with us and answered the many questions we had. It was a very enjoyable week.
