EVENT DATE: Thursday 13th October 2022

One of our annual fundraising events at Lismullen N.S. is our School Marathon Relay. The event forms part of our Active School Flag Programme. This event is about getting  kids active and promoting a healthy active lifestyle. The first event was back in 2017 and is now one in which each child gets excited about participating in. The name of the game is to collectively run a full marathon 26 miles (42km).  Every child is involved in running a section of the marathon in a relay format. The event is run by our friends at Fitter Younger, who provide official distance tracking and time keeping. The goal each year is to beat the school’s former marathon record time. We all have a lot of fun taking part in this event.
